Several water fitness classes are offered for a small fee throughout the year. Classes include Deep Water Aerobics, Turbo Tone and Burn, Aquatics in Motion, and Arthritis Classes. Classes in lifeguarding, water safety instruction and CPR are offered periodically throughout the year. Swimming lessons are offered beginning at six months of age through adulthood, in group, private and semi-private setting.

We hope you find your experience in our aquatic program a pleasurable one! Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Aquatic Coordinator at 301-447-5816.

We look forward to seeing you at the pool!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes will be cancelled one day prior to the start date if there is insufficient enrollment.

LOCKER ROOM POLICY: Children age 6 and older must use the same gender locker rooms and must be with the parent at all times. Please respect the privacy of those who do not wish children to be in the opposite gender locker room.

PARKING POLICY: Parking lots A-F on the South side of the ARCC are available. Parking in “Reserved Parking” spaces could result in a ticket issued by our Public Safety Department. If you have special parking needs, please see the Facility Manager for details.

REFUND POLICY FOR ALL AQUATIC PROGRAMS: Refunds are only available when Mount St Mary’s cancels a class.

MAKE-UP POLICY: Make-ups are offered only to Infant/Toddler swim class students. Arbitrary exchange of students from one class to another can result in unsafe conditions due to fluctuating class sizes and differing skill levels. Please inform the instructor if you need to make-up an Infant/Toddler class.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: When Mount St Mary’s University is closed, the ARCC and all its programs are cancelled. If the College is not declared closed, but there is inclement weather, call 301-447-7424 for a message. You will be informed of the make-up dates at your next class.
