Class cards will be available at Issue and Control. Each card is good for 20 classes, to be used for any classes of your choice.

Class Descriptions

Yoga: This class blends traditional Hatha yoga poses with Pilates mat exercises to strengthen and stretch the body. Participants will notice increases in flexibility as well as muscle tone.
Super Sculpt: This class uses resistance equipment to strengthen muscles. The class will work all the major muscle groups for a well-rounded strength-training program.
Ab Blast: This 20-minute class focuses on the muscles of the abdomen and lower back. Using a variety of techniques and exercises, participants will strengthen their abdominals as they work their way to 6-pack abs!
Step: It's not the same old step class! This class blends traditional step format with new moves to get a great workout, while toning the lower body. Each class concludes with abdominal training.
Kickboxing: Box those calories away! This class teaches kicks and punches, and puts them together in combinations that will get your muscles burning and your heart rate up.
Butts & Guts Pump: Kill two birds with one stone! This 45-minute class uses the step to help tone the lower body and strengthen the abs. Incorporating step also helps burn massive calories!
Cardio Quickie: If you're pressed for time, this is the class for you! You'll spend 30 minutes working up a sweat with this moderate to high intensity cardio workout.
DanceFit: Using a different style of dance each week, this class gets you moving and sweating! These dance-inspired moves will help you on your way to a healthier body. The schedule for the class formats is:

Weight Room Orientations >>
The ARCC also offers weight room orientations for those interested. If you're not comfortable starting out on your own, or if you're bored with current workout and want a new routine, contact Chris Vish at 301-447-3810, or by email at cvish@msmary.edu, to schedule a date and time. Orientations generally last 45-60 minutes.
