Class Descriptions

*********************************************

Yoga:  This class blends traditional Hatha yoga poses with Pilates mat exercises to strengthen and stretch the body.  Participants will notice increases in flexibility as well as muscle tone.

Super Sculpt:  This class uses resistance equipment to strengthen muscles.  The class will work all the major muscle groups for a well-rounded strength-training program.

Ab Blast:  This 20-minute class focuses on the muscles of the abdomen and lower back.  Using a variety of techniques and exercises, participants will strengthen their abdominals as they work their way to 6-pack abs!

Step:  It's not the same old step class!  This class blends traditional step format with new moves to get a great workout, while toning the lower body.  Each class concludes with abdominal training.

Kickboxing:  Box those calories away!  This class teaches kicks and punches, and puts them together in combinations that will get your muscles burning and your heart rate up.

Butts & Guts Pump:  Kill two birds with one stone!  This 45-minute class uses the step to help tone the lower body and strengthen the abs.  Incorporating step also helps burn massive calories!

Cardio Quickie:  If you're pressed for time, this is the class for you!  You'll spend 30 minutes working up a sweat with this moderate to high intensity cardio workout.

DanceFit:  Using a different style of dance each week, this class gets you moving and sweating!  These dance-inspired moves will help you on your way to a healthier body.  The schedule for the class formats is:

Mar. 27              Salsa

Apr. 3                Belly Dance
