To Join the Credit Union
You will need to complete a membership application (available in the Human Resource Office) and deposit a minimum of $25.00 into a savings account or sign up for payroll deduction. Once you open an account, you are eligible to utilize any of the other Credit Union Services. As long as you maintain a minimum balance of $25.00 in your savings account, you can retain your membership, even if you leave the Mount.
To Apply for a Loan
You may join JHFCU and apply for a loan on the same day. Loan applications are available in the Human Resource Office or directly from the JHFCU website. You must submit copies of your last two pay stubs (or other proof of income) along with the completed loan application to JHFCU. (If you are applying for an auto loan, be sure to include the purchase order from your dealer. If you are applying to consolidate your bills, include a list of the bills you wish to pay off.) Once your loan application is received at JHFCU, the loan is usually processed within two days. Once approved for a loan, you may make monthly payments to JHFCU or sign up to have a payroll deduction.
