Multicultural Student Organizations
There are a number of organizations focusing on the support of our diverse student populations. Some of these organizations include:
The Multicultural Student Association (MSA) – This multicultural association consist of representatives from the following 7 active student organizations that promote traditional and cultural programs that recognize and celebrate cultural difference and their contributions to humanity.
The Black Student Union (BSU) – primary purpose is to promote African American heritage on campus and to encourage unity among African American students and students of African decent at the Mount, by providing students with a means of intellectual growth, spiritual growth and development, social activities, and involvement in community service.
Latin American Student Association – primary purpose is to celebrate and promote an awareness of Latin American culture on campus.
Asian Students Association – primary purpose is to increase awareness and educate the college community about Asian culture and heritage.
International Students Association – primary purpose is to promote mutual understanding between various nationalities and cultures, and to bring international students and American students together for mutual help and sharing.
Gospel Choir – primary purpose is to serve as a ministry to spread the powerful message of gospel music through outreach, fellowship, and songs.
Social Dance Club – primary purpose is to promote social and cultural interaction through dance and community service.
