Although Mount St. Mary’s serves dioceses across the United States, it is not a diocesan seminary and does not receive annual diocesan support.

The cost of operating Mount St. Mary’s Seminary is only partially covered by tuition payments. It costs approximately $5,000 in additional funds per year for each seminarian attending the Mount.

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary depends on the support of alumni and friends to make up this difference.
