A Vision For Continuing a Mission of Distinction
Mount St. Mary's University in 2009

Members of the Mount Community,

At its June meeting, the board of trustees adopted a vision statement to guide our development through 2009. This vision statement will serve as a catalyst to engage the campus community in conversation about continuing Mount St. Mary's mission of distinction.

As we near our third century of service, the Mount St. Mary’s University Board of Trustees enthusiastically adopted a Vision Statement to guide our development through 2009.  The board applauds the campus community for articulating and presenting an aggressive agenda to ensure our continuing distinction.

The Board also understands its implementation is vital to the future of the university and, therefore, a sense of urgency to realize this vision is required by all members of our campus community. The commitment from the entire community is needed to ensure the successful implementation of this Vision.
