Of course, our commitment to the Catholic heritage includes a broader context necessary for open discourse. At the Mount, you will learn and share insights about other spiritual and theological traditions, both Christian and non-Christian.

Many of our theology majors go on to careers in clerical, lay and youth ministry after their involvement in the Mount’s extraordinary faith-related activities.

On Campus

Our campus ministry and community service office provides interested students with numerous ways to be involved in campus spiritual life through special Masses and liturgical celebrations, prayer groups, service organizations and volunteer opportunities to help those less fortunate.

The Mount’s chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honor society in theology and religious studies, recognizes and encourages academic achievement. Through Theta Alpha Kappa, students have opportunities to present and publish papers and to compete for scholarship awards.
