Mount St. Mary’s University developed the Mount Accelerated Programs to address the specific needs of working adults who want to complete their undergraduate degrees. We've put together a program that allows you to earn a bachelor’s degree in business and criminal justice in a fast, flexible, yet challenging, format. The courses are five or eight weeks long, one night per week, on a year-round basis.
The Accelerated programs offer specific benefits:
- Completion of a B.S. in Business or a B.A. in Criminal Justice within a relatively short period of time.
- Transfer of courses earned at other regionally accredited institutions.
- Attendance at class only one night per week.
- Small class size.
- Knowledgeable, experienced & energized faculty
- Possible credit for previous learning acquired outside the classroom (portfolio option).
- A liberal arts education provided by the Mount, with almost 200 years of tradition and a proven track record in educating outstanding business leaders.
Why are Accelerated Programs Right for Me?
If you have:
- completed 30 or more undergraduate credits
- obtained a grade point average of 2.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale in previous college work
- worked full-time for three or more years
